Women Who Write Together

Mission Statement

We believe in supporting all women—without bias or judgment.

We foster a joyful, rewarding
environment where creative expression is encouraged and respected.

Through open dialogue and constructive feedback, we grow together as writers and individuals.

We value learning, curiosity, and the courage to explore new ideas.

With gratitude for every experience, we commit to a six-month journey of growth, creativity, and meaningful success.

We aim to inspire and support future groups of women, inviting them to discover the healing power of writing and the strength found in shared stories.

Every month you will receive a writing prompt via email. The prompt will be wide open. Interpret it as you will. You can write in any style, poetry, flash fiction, short story, autobiography, etc. The length is up to you, though a chapter could work.

You can write for as long as you want to and wherever you want to . . . while taking a walk, sitting at a table in a park, lying in bed, in the supermarket line, or sitting at your desk.

Once you have completed the writing prompt, you will upload it to a shared Google Drive. That way the group can experience each other's words together. You will be awed by and excited about the varied approaches our writers take! You will give others the gift of comments as you read their work.

The Process

The Big Picture

Over the course of six months, participants will respond to one writing prompt per month. From these submissions, we’ll curate a collection of our strongest pieces to publish in a community Zine.

To foster connection and support, we’ll gather monthly via Zoom to put faces to names and to share the challenges and victories of writing and creative expression. At the end of the six months, we’ll celebrate in person with a Zine signing party, a reading of selected works, and a writers' workshop.

The completed Zines will be distributed in Little Free Libraries and other public spaces in our local communities. Each copy will feature a QR code on the back, linking to the WWWT webpage where readers can learn more about us. Through this project, we hope to inspire other women to explore and share their creative voices in future initiatives.
